Day 39 Hai Chau to Ho Chi Minh City
We had a nice long sleep last night from 10.30pm so getting up at 7am wasn't a problem. We were very organised this morning and were ready by 7.10. We had breakfast before getting on to the bus for Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon as some of you oldies will remember. We arrived late afternoon and then had a cyclo tour where we sat in this seat that looks like a cross between a wheelchair and a baby buggy and the guy cycles from behind. It was really good! You get a nice view sitting at the front and it was very relaxing. We then went for dinner which was a farewell one for Sarah and Erin who were finishing the tour today and a welcome to the new girls. On the way to dinner when we were walking along a pathway a motorbike came up behind one of the girls and the man grabbed her bag and slashed it with a knife, luckily when he pulled it she grabbed hold of it so when the strap was cut she still had all her stuff. Our tour leader had actually warned us that this could happen so we weren't too freaked out because we were aware that this could happen. After dinner we went to Fanny ice cream cafe which was nice.
