Day 25 Udaipur to Ranakpur
This morning we caught a 9.30am bus through the mountains to a small, quite isolated town called Ranakpur. The bus journey was very scenic. We arrived at lunchtime and had a lovely meal. We explored our location which was in the middle of the jungle type area. It was a nice resort with riverside cottages and a pool with an amazing view of the surroundings. Our cottage had a lovely balcony over river with views of the jungle. We then went to the most holy Jain temple in India. It had lots of beautiful, very intricate carvings. We then came back to pool and had a really relaxing afternoon in the sunshine. We sat down for dinner at around 7pm and watched local tribes dancing. Afterwards we sat round the fire under the stars and watched the night sky. BYE.x
