Day 12 Dahab
Woke up this morning with the first sort of lay in for the whole trip - 9.30am! This day was the first truly relaxing day of the trip - being the only day with nothing planned. We headed to the pool and laid in the sun for an hour or so before getting into the pool. They had nice music paying by the pool so we had a bit of a pool party! We then joined in with the pool aqua aerobics class which was funny. We dried off in the sun and then got on the free shuttle bus into the town centre (which we hadn't been to in the day time before). We had a quick browse of the shops before heading to one of the restaurants we had been to before which was 'famous' for it's 'thick shakes'. Basically, a thick shake is a pint mug of ice cream. We sat on the cushions and had our this shakes with a view of the sea and Saudi Arabia in the background. We just chilled there and used the free wifi available. We then met the rest of the group for our meal out before heading to Mojito pub again (this had become our nightly routine). This night was another of their big party nights in Dahab and it was a black and white party. We all dressed up in black and white and headed to Mojito club after. It was so much fun and a great last night in Dahab. I danced with the DJ called Mostafa and later saw that his status on facebook said he had danced with Katy Perry! (I have neglected to mention it so far but ever since arriving in Egypt I have been called Katy Perry by almost every Egyptian and even those on the tour!!! Everyone really thinks I'm her!??). We headed back home around 5am. BYE.x
