Day 50 Hanoi to Lac Sao, Laos
At 6.30am we started the 10 hour drive to a border town in Laos. This isn't going to be a very long post as driving and eating was the sum total of today's events. There was a very weird part when the Vietnamese departure immigration officers had all our passports - they stamped them looked at you and gave them back except they did mine first then put it to one side. They let everyone go through but then started pointing at my eyelashes.. they then reached to touch them it was all very weird then they had all their friends come to look at me, then it was my nose they wanted to touch and then my fingers (I had a manicure so flowers on my nails) then my tour leader came back through immigration and started shouting at them and grabbed my passport back and stormed off, me in tow. Very strange. The border town was dead, only one restaurant and barely any life. BYE.x
